Course description

Through the study of “Product Structure and Rapid Digital Manufacturing”, the course enables students to understand the tremendous impact and profound changes brought about by the rapid development of computer-aided design and advanced manufacturing technology in the digital age on industrial design, and to master the basic techniques, methods and processes for  transforming creative ideas and physical prototypes into digital models.Design concept will be further perfected in this process. Students are required to understand the basic properties and application methods of digital models,master the basic procedures and methods of applying the 3D virtual software and human-computer interaction device demo digital model ,understand the basic principles and performance of different types of digital manufacturing equipment. In the course experiment, the actual operation will be completed to transform the digital model into a physical object, students will realize the whole process of digital model in the virtual and real world seamlessly and accurately.
