Course description

“The Basis of Design Research” is a basic theory course in the design course system.The course introduces basic theory, methods and tools of design research. It can help students produce the basic vision and structure of design research and conduct simple entry-level design research, which will build up the basis of the following research jobs in designing work. The purpose and requirements of this course are to train students to apply the basic theories, basic methods and tools of design research through learning and comprehensive training. Guide students to use independently, expand relevant research, and learn more efficiently and conveniently. The theoretical part of the study by teaching theoretical knowledge, combined with relevant cases to understand, help students to conduct research at home, enhance students' academic ability. In the interaction with students, the importance of teaching research methods for future enterprises and the promotion of social innovation can be carried out more systematically through design research methods.
