讲座引入
The presentation is about the changes to the field of design as we have seen in the last 30 years. I will give examples of projects I have worked on earlier in my career. There has been a shift from commercial projects in business environments to projects that are in the public domain with a focus on environmental and social sustainability. I will also present some amazing student graduation projects from Delft, Hong Kong and Loughborough as well as some very up-to-date and advanced research projects. In the projects there is always a coming together of technologies and the lives of people. It is our task as designers to create positive change by creatively bringing together our understanding of people and technologies. This turns out to be the constant factor in our field.

Cees de Bont，博士，教授，英国拉夫堡设计与创意艺术学院院长，曾任代尔夫特理工大学工业设计工程学院院长(2005-2011)，香港理工大学设计学院院长(2012-2018)，曾在皇家飞利浦电子公司担任设计、营销和战略方面的设计职务(1995-2005)。
Cees de Bont教授研究聚焦于设计教育、消费者行为、创新与责任设计的实施。在《Design Studies》《Design Issues》《International Journal of Design》《Journal of Product Innovation Management》《She Ji》《Economics and Innovation》《Journal of Engineering Design》等顶级期刊上发表多篇学术论文。Cees de Bont获得蒂尔堡大学心理学学士学位和消费心理学硕士学位，以及代尔夫特理工大 学博士学位(1992年)，2017年，Cees获得 ICoNNN 大奖。
