Dr. Michael Stuart Grierson is a professor at University of the Arts London and director of the Creative Computing Institute. He is also a jury member of the Engineering and Physical Sciences Foundation of the UK, the Humanities And Arts Foundation of France, the National Research Foundation of France, and the START Project of the EU. The Creative Computing Postgraduate Program of University of the Arts London, founded by Professor Grierson, has become a model program in the interdisciplinary of computer science and arts-and-human among international design schools, and ranked at the 2nd in The QS (Arts and Design). His personal research contributions are mainly to explore the interaction of artistic images, music, and video using artificial intelligence, signal processing and computer-generated methods. He has published more than 60 papers and his works have been reported by BBC and Channel 4.
