Course Introduction

Advertising photography is a subject with the purpose of conveying advertising information, based on the latest modern scientific and technological achievements, and with photography theory and visual communication design theory as the fulcrum. Advertising photography is an important compulsory professional course for the majors of art design, industrial design, advertising, journalism and communication, Chinese language and architecture in Colleges and universities. It is listed as the main professional course in the undergraduate teaching and training plan.


The purpose of this course is to enable students to fully understand the basic theory of advertising image, the shooting law of advertising image and the expression characteristics of advertising photography language. Through experiments, students understand the performance of various photographic equipment and the use of photographic equipment, master photography technology, lighting skills and a variety of possible expression methods, and be familiar with photography modeling language. On this basis, shoot and create according to different photography themes, enhance students' expression and understanding of advertising shooting and post production, deepen their understanding and understanding of the basic theories of product and commercial photography, and lay a solid foundation for practice.
