Course Introduction

The course is the core course for the third year of industrial design students. The Kansei Principles is a comprehensive scientific knowledge, which involves Engineering, Psychology, Cognitive Science, Neuroscience, Sociology, Education, Psychophysiology, Value-center Design, Ethics and other integrated professional fields. The course needs to complete the basic knowledge of "human" such as Design Psychology, Ergonomics, Statistics and Data Analysis, and then further understand the knowledge of “humans”, that is the “mind". The course mainly includes the understanding and mastery of the principles of Kansei. Students can systematically think about Kansei, understand the research paradigm of Kansei, and flexibly use the relevant knowledge of the principles of Kansei to develop a more in-depth and systematic Kansei design.
