Course Introduction
Design quality and Standard is a new elective course under the 20th edition of training program. The course focuses on "What is Good design?" And how to develop the quality evaluation and standards of design and so on.
In the context of interdisciplinary integration, the concept, content and methods of design are changing. How should we think about and evaluate "good design"? This course focuses on six modules, "complex products and system innovation design" "smart products and interaction design" "cultural fusion of science and technology and innovation design”. Under the perspective of this new project, we will analyze selected excellent design cases from the fields of product design, service design, social innovation design, sustainable and ecological design; Discuss and analyze the existing design industry standards and criteria of excellent design awards at home and abroad, and guide students to think independently about the design quality and standards in the new era, so as to improve students' ability of thinking about the present and the future.
