The Intelligent Design Method course is a required course for an undergraduate major in industrial design.The progress of intelligent technology has changed the way of art and design creation, and artificial intelligence technology has gradually become the basic thinking mode and realization means of innovation.This course introduces the integration of artificial intelligence and innovative design from design objects, design process, design application and design methods.The course mainly includes the impact of AI on design, the impact of AI on designers, the change of AI on interactive design, the application of AI in innovative design, and AI design theory and methods.The course has a wide range of content, strong system and many examples, which provides a foundation for students 'essential understanding of intelligent design, and cultivates students' intelligent design skills, the cross-innovation spirit and practical ability of art and science.
