Dr. Lily Diaz-Kommonen, is Head of Research & Deputy Director of Helsinki New Media Lab, and currently a Full Professor at the School of Art, Design and Architecture at Aalto University, Finland. She was the principal researcher of the Cultural Heritage Digital Technology Development and Implementation Project. As the director of the Research Center, she is responsible for the doctoral research content of the Helsinki Media Lab and is also a well-known expert in the field of culture technology and virtual reality in the European Union. Lily Diaz-Kommonen has written more than 90 publications in the fields of art, design, cultural heritage, and new media, and has participated in many of our school’s "Cultural and Technological Integration" and "Modern Services" projects.
