Dr. Troels Degn Johansson is currently the Head of Academy at the University of Gothenburg, Sweden, associate Professor at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, and Director of KADK Bornholm Center in the Department of Handcraft/Glass and Ceramics. He was director of research at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts (Head of Institute, 2013-2017) and director of research at the Danish Academy of Design (Head of Research, 2009-13). Troels Johansson has extensive research and international collaboration experience in interdisciplinary design research theory, sustainable design and human, visual visualization of information in the architecture environment. He has chaired 4 Swedish Government Sustainable Development Research Council projects, 3 EU Innovation European Research projects, chair of Nordic Design Research Conference (2013, 2017), and has been a consulting expert of The Danish Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation since 2000.
