Course Introduction

This course is the professional core course of vehicle design major. It is the leading course of "Modeling: form, characteristics, semantics and situation" and "design: complex system", which provides targeted training for the course learning of vehicle design. Through the study of the course of speed shape and prototyping, the students can have a more extensive and in-depth understanding of the basic concepts and theories of the shape modeling of vehicles. Through the course, students can understand fluid mechanics, modeling semantics and shape perception, master the evolution history and future development trend of vehicle technology, and understand the evolution history and structural evolution of human, machine and environment in vehicles. The course will understand the essential significance and development trend of means of transportation from the perspectives of society, culture, economy, science and technology, materials, etc. The course includes the theoretical part of fluid mechanics and morphological semantics with certain theoretical depth and large knowledge, as well as the case practice part with mass production products as the object, so as to cultivate students' ability to observe, analyze and solve problems comprehensively and comprehensively and their comprehensive modeling ability.
