Course Introduction

Many contemporary art masters and graphic designers understand the wonderful use of printmaking. In western countries, printmaking has always been a very important  course because of its close relationship with the cultivation of creativity, the creation of works of art, design art, the output and dissemination of works of art. Printing is one of the four great inventions in ancient China. China has a long tradition of wood engraving, but in modern times, this tradition should not be ignored and we need to  develop this great tradition further and makes it prosperous.

Printmaking is a visual art form produced by printing. Different from other visual art forms, printmaking is indirect and reproducible through the reversal or leakage of layout. Many great artists have dabbled in printmaking. If they don't understand printmaking, they can't have a thorough understanding of modern printing, modern design and modern painting art.
