On March 18, 2022, from 20:00 to 21:30 Beijing time, the "new engineering • new design"-- "health, data and people-centered design" international forum, hosted by the school of design at Hunan University and the Teaching Steering Subcommittee of Industrial Design in Higher Education Institutions of The Ministry of Education, was held as scheduled in the form of online conference live broadcast, which attracted hundreds of people to watch and discuss online.
The forum was chaired by Professor Wang Wei of Hunan University and invited four experts and scholars from Britain and China. They are: Professor Dong Hua, Dean of the school of design, Brunel University, UK; Mr. Shao Lingyun, deputy general manager of central R & D Management Department of Shenzhen Mindray Biomedical Electronics Co., Ltd; Professor Cheng Shiwei, deputy director of computer software research institute of Zhejiang University of technology; Professor Zhang Hanling, School of design and art, Hunan University.
From their respective research fields, experts discussed the relationship between health, data and people-centered design from multiple angles, and shared rich and wonderful research and practice cases. Finally, in the round table discussion stage, the experts conducted critical thinking and discussion on technological development and discipline cooperation, and the forum was successfully concluded.
