On August 19th, the 5th The RoboCreator Finals hosted by Ecovacs came to a close at the World Robotics Conference. The theme of this year's competition is “Open Eyes, Wisdom Makes Unlimited Future”, and received 890 works from school groups and makers from Tsinghua University, Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Hunan University, Jiangnan University, Tongji University, Nanjing Art College, etc. There are 22 works entered the finals.
The competition is divided into two categories: technical school and design school. The design competition has one first prize, two second prizes and three third prizes. After the on-site evaluation of the jury of the competition,"MONOWALK Intelligent Protection Children's Toddler Robot" designed by Liu Siyao, Yang Xin and Yang Wenyuan of School of Design,Hunan University won the first prize, “Home Central Air Conditioning Pipe Cleaning Robot”designed by Wang Jiangtao, Wang Tao and Jia Fusheng won the second prize, and "SC MIGHT Intelligent Split Sweeping Robot" designed by Yang Youhao and Cheng Qiaoling won the third prize. This is the second time that School of Design,Hunan University won the RoboCreator.
