Chen Xiantao
Department of Industrial Design, Hunan University, 2002, undergraduate, 2005 Master, 2009 Ph.D. in Design Art, is a senior user experience researcher at Baidu's Medical Division, responsible for user experience research and designs of Baidu's new medical products.
He has worked in interactive design and experiential research in Nokia, Lenovo, and Alibaba. From September 2009 to November 2011, he worked as a postdoctoral researcher at Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications and Nokia Beijing Research Institute. He conducted research on human-computer interaction, mobile service innovation, and user experience. He was responsible for hatching the input method, a series of innovative applications such as Weibo Radio, and successfully transformed the concept of innovation into an influential product.
During working for Lenovo, he was responsible for the desktop PC product experience research of Lenovo PC Division, the smart desktop LENOVO HORIZON, the family cloud storage center LENOVO BEACON and other products, respectively. He won many innovation awards of the US CES, he won the Lenovo PC Division Innovation Award twice. During Alibaba, he was responsible for user experience research in rural Taobao, Alibaba International Station, AliExpress and other websites.
He has published 7 academic papers in major international conferences and core journals such as MobileHCI, INTERACT, OZCHI, etc., and applied for 12 invention patents at home and abroad, including 10 patents of the first inventor.
