Course Introduction

《3D and space》 is a professional elective course for students of College of Design and Art. The task of this course is to enable science students who have no foundation in design art to master the basic concepts, rules of form, language of form, components, design principles and design methods of THREE-DIMENSIONAL modeling, finally understand and master the basic principles of three-dimensional form, and have the basic design ability of three-dimensional modeling. Learn to use the basic rules of form, body language, spatial thinking ability, through the comprehensive training of students in three-dimensional shape design and production ability, improve students' morphological language, spatial imagination ability and basic skills, aesthetic ability to solve problems and independent innovation ability.

In the theoretical teaching part, students' 3d modeling ability can be developed through teaching theoretical content, so as to have more dispersed ability and make their ideas more innovative. In the practice part, through the combination of theoretical knowledge to realize the combination with practice, let students learn to think, cultivate a variety of thinking ability, expand hands-on ability and thinking ability, so as to effectively combine design thinking with the current design practice. By learning this course, students can understand the design thinking and the ability of three-dimensional expression, comprehensively improve their learning ability, and lay a foundation for the later study of industrial design course.
