Course Introduction
The primary role of Human-Computer Interaction Design is to bridge technologies and human contexts and to provide interaction interface and channels between artifacts and users. The goal of the course is to grasp the design methods of interactive elements and patterns in different HCI channels and develop skills, experience, and ability in applying methods/principles of interaction design towards a comprehensive design problem. This course emphasizes particularly on exploring, experimenting, and demonstrating new possibilities of human computer/machine interaction - physical, graphical, auditory etc. The course builds up a project-based design background. Designing for prototyping and conducting user study will be distributed in the whole process of the course.
