Car design is the art of intuition, between intentional and casual, conscious and unconscious, traces of hands on paper.Car design is a manifestation of speed and passion for people of every age.The 2015-level undergraduate course "Digital Design Technology" and "Design Model", as well as the 2017 postgraduate course "Theories and Practices of Automotive Modeling Design", aim to explore and reflect on the future social development trends, and use this as a styling theme. Based on the theory of automobile design,they will find and design the automobile modeling language, brand family genes and future“Vehicle”that conform to the trend of the next era.
Undergraduate teaching courses focus on the design of intuitive training.Through the car design method, the observation of the shape and light and the exploration of the graphic performance, combined with the car construction method in the three-dimensional software,cultivate students' exploration and exploration of space, light and shadow, tension and personal style, allowing students to directly experience a car from invisible paper concepts to tangible physical entities.
Postgraduate teaching courses focus on the understanding of design practice.From the needs of the user community, through design research and analysis, build design concepts and calibrate the theme;Starting from the background of the production car design project, we will experience the modeling "dance" under the constraints of manufacturing and engineering.Let students know from“designing a car”to knowing“why design a car like this”.
This joint exhibition is the result of the joint efforts of all undergraduate and postgraduate students in the course of Teacher Zhao Danhua.It is the understanding and expression of people after 95 and 00 about cars.The exhibition will be held at the Peach Lake Exhibition Hall of School of Design,Hunan University. The exhibition will be held from June 27th to June 28th.The exhibition includes various forms of design concepts such as exhibition boards and 3D models, design thinking and design understanding process, and the final design of the design.It also includes students sharing their car design experience on the spot, sharing their car design awareness and imagining the future of car design.
