Course Introduction

This course is an elective innovation and entrepreneurship course of the "specialty-innovation integration" category for undergraduate students at Hunan University. It deeply integrates industrial design tools and product development methods with innovation and entrepreneurship education, establishing a full-chain training path of “user insight→product innovation→entrepreneurial implementation” to achieve the synergistic improvement of design capability and innovation/entrepreneurship competence.

Main Content

Design Thinking and Opportunity Identification: Teaches user insight and needs mining, design research, and opportunity identification methods, using case studies to inspire students to discover market scenario opportunities.

Product Innovation and Rapid Iteration: Involves conceptual design, prototype development, and iterative optimization. It adopts project-based learning in the laboratory, emphasizing hands-on practice and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Design-Driven Entrepreneurial Implementation: Focuses on design-driven business model construction, value proposition canvas, and minimum viable product (MVP) design. Through project roadshows, it connects students with innovation and entrepreneurship incubators and external enterprise transformation resources.
