Course Introduction
In recent years, although many colleges and universities have introduced some parametric design technology in the course of engineering drawing, and students have also used parametric modeling design technology in competitions, course design and graduation design, these skills are only acquired through students' self-study and related follow-up elective courses. From the students' contests, class design and graduation design works that I came into contact with, most of the students did not receive systematic and standardized training in parametric design and expression, did not understand the connotation of parametric design, and narrowed parametric design into a modeling and display tool, or even only used model display, The extreme case of redrawing engineering drawings using 2D drawing tools.
The lecturer of this course has more than ten years of experience in using and teaching parametric design software. In the course, the content of traditional engineering drawing and parametric modeling design technology are integrated, and the related content of parametric modeling design is introduced comprehensively and systematically, hoping to be helpful to students who have this demand.
This course introduces the idea and process of general industrial product design; The basic ideas and methods of using parametric modeling design software for design and engineering expression; Strengthen the lack of design consciousness and the accurate expression of design ideas in the traditional engineering drawing course; Through the concept of parametric design such as constraints, the deep origin and meaning of relevant national standards in engineering drawing course are clarified; In the content arrangement, the well-designed examples are used to cover the main modeling features, instead of the boring explanation one by one; In terms of teaching methods, it focuses on the explanation of ideas and learning methods, and strives to achieve the goal of "teaching people to fish", so as to achieve the goal that the course is based on one kind of software, but the teaching effect is not limited to the characteristic software.
