Chen Bobiao International Children's Literature Award, formerly known as the Children's Literature Gardener Award, was established in 1981 by the famous Chinese children's literature master Chen Bobiao. It is one of the most literary awards in China with the longest running time and the largest number of award-winning writers. In 2014, it was promoted to China's first international children's literature award.
